The most incorrect and total dis info concept is the idea that advanced ET beings (that have access to replicator technology) needed labor for acquiring gold. 

• Replicator technology is basic and common device amongst many ET races good or bad for eons. What this tech does is take a blueprint/template of an object it scans or can be programmed into the data bank and it then organizes the atoms from the pure energy of space to form any object from thin air- not limited to producing gold.
